Turn off and remove the ink cartridge from the printer and open the screws at the back side of the printer. you may have pieces of paper that might have got jammed before... remove those wastes and connect everything back...
It should work...
clean the rubber rollers of your printer they might be too dirty that causes the improper movement of paper and cause the paper jam..or open the cover of your printer check for the brocken belts .or paper rollers
Press the Power button and then wait for the jam to clear.
If the paper jam cleared, try the print job again.
If the paper jam is not resolved, continue.
Remove the rear access door. Press the handle to the right, and then pull out the door.
Remove any paper that is inside the printer by pulling the paper out from the back of the printer.
Replace the rear access door.
If the paper jam cannot be removed from the back of the printer, raise the product cover, carefully remove the jam from the front of the product, and then lower the cover.
Re-load the paper in the In tray. Fanning the paper makes sure that the pages are not stuck together.
Press the Power button ( ) to turn on the product.
Open the document in the application in which it was created.
Verify that the type of paper specified in the Type is text box matches the type of paper being used. A paper jam might result if photo paper is specified in the Printer Properties dialog box, but plain paper is loaded in the printer.
Look for any small rips of paper caught in a sensor back there. There are little "fingers" that the paper runs over and its all timed. if one of those sensors are jammed with something or sticky, error messages.
check near where the paper enters the roller for pick up and use a stiff brush to clear anything small in there. vacuum the area and then power up to see if this helps
First try reinstalling drivers for your printer from original CD, if that doesn't help update your drivers from the Internet.
If none of it helps, try connecting your printer to another computer and see if it will behave the same. If it does, then printer is ready for retirement.
there could be three reasons for this problem
1)the printer cover is not properly closed.
2)either any of the cartridge is faulty.
3)or there is literally the paper jam in the printer.so at the back of the printer there is a assess door just remove that door and you can see inside any paper jam.also look for any minute tiny pieces of paper blocking the gears to forward and it shows paper jam.
