Mp3 player Samsun mp3 player is frozen on first screen. Can't get the menu to pop up to listen to music. changed battery, plugged it back into my computer, computer doesn't recognize it is there. HELP

M240, I called the sansa help desk and they said that since my computer did not recognize my mp3 player that it had been corrupted and that I should throw it out. Then, he told me to write down my service number in case I wanted to call back! I told him why would I call back about this when you just told me that it was dead?
