M240, I called the sansa help desk and they said that since my computer did not recognize my mp3 player that it had been corrupted and that I should throw it out. Then, he told me to write down my service number in case I wanted to call back! I told him why would I call back about this when you just told me that it was dead?

Also make sure your mp3 player is fully charged before you could attmpt to play music with it
