Are you getting power at the wall plug? Test it with a lamp or nitelite. GFI are made to protect people and need to be tested annualy by the button on the plug. You also have to reset it by the plug or circuit breaker. If the washer is on the same circuit as something else that uses high current it may too much current for the circuit. It use to be that we could not wash clothes and use the microwave so I moved the microwave.

It is likely to be a failed control board. They are expensive so call for service. Then you get the correct diagnosis and warranty on the part and the labour.

Have a Neptune Maytag frontload washer. The door is open but the lock mechanism is locked so cannot shut the door. Is there a code for this??

try un pluging washer for 15min and plug back in to see if it resets. if not u may need new latch but first make sure u don't have a loose wire to lock

The main control board has gone out and will need to be replaced. All of the newer washers, and dryers that have the electronics need to have a surge protector on them. Here is the control board to order.

Maytag-Neptune stopped part way though cycle. Error code 0E shows on LCD panel. Powering down does not reset. I can't enter service mode as described in the washer manual the 0E code remains.

In general this error code is the main control.

Resetting by pulling out the plug may help, but I wouldn't count on it.

This would require a new main control board.

try unpluging and let it sit then plug back in but iof that doesnt work as long as its not 5yrs old and puirchased before 06 board and panel should be under warranty parts only though not labor

My Neptune washer MAH9700

I have a Maytag Neptune MAH 9700. It died one day and the door remained locked. I am guessing the circuit board is fried so it's a good thing I purchased a five year extended warranty. The problem though, is that my 2 year olds BLANKY was in there and she won't go to bed without it. Can't wait 2 weeks for the repair guy. I was able to remove the top and (after I unplugged it of course) get my hand to the bottom of the switch housing. Seems there is a small opening at the bottom. I pressed up with my finger and was able to get the door opened. Whew!!! Hope this helps. ; )

The magnetic switch was stuck due to power outage / contactor are spark connect the contactor stuck together .Magnetic switch to replace.
