Ok basically the problem with your ipod is that you either are not entering ur WEP key correctly or that you got your ipod from some corner shop down the street :) anyway, ur WEP key is probably not what you think it is because you have to have a router or other such wireless device for u to have one that works. but if u have it then make sure you go to router settings and then security and make sure it allows external devices to access its network, so it doesnt block the ipod. hope this helps :P if it doesnt, u better hope u have a warranty.......

Invalid argument

FIRST OF ALL GO TO SAFARI AND TRY TO VISIT any other website BESIDE google.com
if it connects then check the networks firewall settings.
if it doesn't then this is because of your network connection.

I touch the forget network buttom on my ipod touch and wiped out my linksys network

Try clicking the Renew Lease button, on the same page where you found the "Forget this Network" button.
Or, on the home page, go to Settings->General->Reset->Reset Network Settings. Reset Network Settings, again, in the red box. Once the iPod is back on, try connecting to Safari. If this doesn't work, try turning off your Linksys router for at least 30 sec to 1 min. Turn it back on and try connecting to Safari. This should work, hopefully.

Ipod touch will not accept my network

Go into General settings, then under Wi-Fi settings make sure it's turned on first, then if you can see the name of your next work, to the right of that you should see a blue small arrow pointing to the right. Click that, at the bottom of that screen your HTTP Proxy should be set to off. If you can see the first 4 boxes have your IP address, subnet, router, and DNS information in there, click Renew Lease and try to connect again. Make sure your password is entered correctly, meaning if you have upper and lowercase letters in your password enter them the same on your ipod. You may need to authurize your Ipod on your router before it will allow it to connect, not sure what type of router you have. Hope this helps Cali

Can't connect my router to my Ipod touch?

ok do this if it is already showing your router up on your portable device but it has that security lock and you are unable to join or need a password which u dont know lol go to that network and on the top push forget this network. than go back and click on for other location. than for the name put in your router name usually 5 characters long make sure u use capitalization cuz its case sensitive. than select what kind of key u have it should say right on the side of your wireless router. than type the key in usually a wep key and u should be set to join it if it doesnt auto matically do soo

Cannot connect to internet with itouch

Go into Preferances, go to Wi-Fi, touch the blue cycle next to the Wi-Fi router you're conected to. Scroll to the bottom of the page and touch "Renew Lease", touch "Renew Lease" in the pop up. This may or may not work the first time. Either way, power off your iTouch by holding the "Power button" then sliding the slider. Turn it back on, go back to Preferences/Wi-Fi... Renew Lease... Try to open Safari. If it doesn't work the first time, no worries, try it all again. This is the solution, but if your iTouch gets glitchy, it can take a few tries. The most I've ever seen was 3 complete tries... "Renew Lease, Full Restart (slide to power off), Renew Lease"... one. Repeat!
