F2 error I have rec'd the f2 error. I have completely cleaned the exterior drain line, but I continually get the f2 error and only the drain/spin or the rinse/spin cycle works to resolve this. Help. Ready to call a repair man

It is possible that the brushes on the motor that spins the drum are worn down. The drum will start and stop when this happens. Check the brushes.

The first thing that should be done is cleaning the drain hose and the drain pump filter, you can take out three torx screws from the bottom front panel and then clean the area completely, lift up the cap to clean the filter. If the error returns then check the drain pump if it is not working then replacing the pump is recommended repair. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

FILTER BLOKED. WASTE PUMP CLOGED

The error code must be cleared first to make the machine back into operation. You have to press the PAUSE/CANCEL button twice to clear the error on the display.

The only filter the machine has is the one you removed to clean the pump. When the error is cleared, you can check the pump whether it is operating properly or not by running the diagnostic test.

Diagnostic Test Mode Procedure

1. Close the door.
2. Select the DRAIN/SPIN.
3. Select NO SPIN by pressing the SPIN SELECT button.
4. Press RINSE/HOLD or PREWASH OPTION button four times within five seconds.
5. "C:00" will show on the display indicating that the door is locked and the diagnostic test starts.
6. Press the button you pressed in step 4 above two times. "C:01" will show on the display and the machine starts to fill.
7. Press PAUSE/CANCEL button two times when there's enough water inside the tub to stop the test.
8. Observe the water level falls as the pump starts draining the water. Replace the pump if the water inside the tub does not drain. You have removed and cleaned the pump so you can easily replace it too.

Please inform me about the result of the diagnostic test and if you still need any assistance regarding this problem.

"F02" is a Long Drain error. If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes this error code will be displayed. In addition, a "SUDS" error may also be generated as a secondary error. This is an indication of a drain pump problem and/or clog in the drain line. You will need to check the following:

1. Check the drain hose to make sure it is not kinked or clogged.
2. Check the electrical connections to the pump and ensure the pump is running.
3. Remove the drain pump filter and check for foreign objects and/or debris.

If the above procedures do not correct the problem, it is recommended by the manufacturer to replace the drain pump

check the drain hose it should be only 6 to 8 inch in your drain line if drain hose is all the way in the drain line correct it and you will be fine.

There is a block in your pump, you have to locate it, dismantle it & remove the block. Plug off the wall first.
