When projector is turned on, it lights up and projects images for 30 minutes then automatically shuts down. I have changed the lamp assy believing that the lamp life was nearing its expiration. Although a new lamp assy was installed, the said problem continues
There are several things that can cause this problem, but the first thing I would check is the filter. The projector requires airflow to keep it cool. If airflow is blocked, the projector will overheat and shut down automatically.

if you know how to open the unit, try fixing its ventilation. flashing bulb light sometimes mean an occurance of overheating. try to clean all the fans and the air vent.
SOURCE: MISSING CABLE
you can buy any vga cable at any electronics shop in your area. usually epsons pin configuration is just standard so any vga cable will do. also try to look for it in any computer surplus store (if theres any). LCD TV nowadays has a bundled vga cable that will work with your projector too.

Hi,
From my experience, the projector bulb has most likely received a blemish of some kind from something such as accumulated dust on the front, to a fingerprint from where it has been handled by someone replacing it.
This yellow tinge then occurs when the blemish is burned onto the surface of the bulb.
In my opinion, unfortunately, you may need to get a new bulb.
Hope this helps!
