Docucolor 12 printing nothing from glass

Hi, I just tried printing from the glass and now it is printing nothing. It was printing before when you asked me so this might be something you know. However, I don't get an error code. When I connect the fiery to another Docucolor 12, it works so I know it is the copier. Could this be the fuses? Thanks, Keith

    Thank you for your help. I found a loose connection on the Vsel pwb. By the way, what does ROS and pwb
    stand for? I see it all the time, but never bother to know what it
    stand for.

The only fuses it could be are the 24v fuses going to the ROS. In general it would "normally" be the ROS and Halftone pwb or the Vsel pwb. Both of these might not be sitting right/loose ribbon cables etc, depending if you have been working in that area.
The other option is a defective cleaner clutch for the IBT. This "normally" leaves with just the black left on the print however. You will have to watch the machine and see if there is actually an image being produced on the drum. If not, the ROS (ROS and halftone pwb must always be replaced together)

    PWB = is just describes a circuit board, I've never really bothered to find out myself, probably something like printed wire board or something daft. every board is a PWB though, as you've probably found

The Problem is your Copy Print Module it has a scracht on it if you replace the module it will desapear the dots and lines.

Xerox Docucolor 12 copier doesn't print when sending to FieryEX12

There is no 1 part that deals with this issue i'm afraid. The copy from the glass uses all the boards in the same path that a print uses. It definately rules out the machine fault. I would guess that the machine isn't set up properly to receive these fierys. Just make sure all connections are secure, if not try other cables.

could be a few things, the ips pwb in the machine might be faulty, which can cause these types of issues, a driver issue woth the video boards on the fiery, or other pwbs on the machine itself. You would have to run the machine for a while on another fiery to make sure no other faults occur before condemning the machine or the fiery

Docucolor 12 no print color & B/W

the only thing apart from software corruption is that you could try printing a configuration sheet. If this prints then black printing is working. If it won't then print a test page then you need composite patch 1-7QU5B.ps from the xerox "drivers and downloads" site. If none of this works it is a software reload.

if its a print from system to machine do the following
1: check the cables from fiery to machine
2: press clear server in the fiery menu

its not ok
next time mention fiery model
