Jura Impressa X90 Espresso Machine acting up

Trying to get my X90 to work properly. I got it in broken state, and i've done a complete "service" on it, lubricating all O-rings, connections etc. Descaled the frother nozzle, cleaned the Solenoid for frothing etc. The machine has no error codes and brews Coffee, but not stable. If it's the first cup of Coffee you make on it since a while, almost nothing goes into the cup - It only goes half way into the brew and then spits it out in the waste container. If you immediately brew another cut afterwards, the content goes into the cup. It seems impossible to use ground Coffee on the machine, i place a spoonful in the funnell and it only goes some part of the brewing process and stops. I cannot see any leaks, it's just like it starts brewing and then stops for some reason. I cannot seem to find any pressure transducer/regulator on this unit - And idea of what could be wrong ? TIA!

SOURCE: leaks at the hot water spout during coffee brew

I had the same problem. I ended up taking the coffee machine apart and found that the reason coffee trickles out around the hot water spout is that the two coffee nozzles were partially plugged. Since I Had parts of the coffee machine apart I was able to clean it easily. It may also be possible to clean the assembly using a pick of some sort and clean out the holes of the two normal coffee spouts. Inside it is just a open cavity so gentle poking around and using some steaming hot water may do the trick.
If you want to take the machine apart you need to do the following: 1) take of the warmer plate on the top - 2 storz screws but an allen key works as well 2) take off the top plate of the machine - another 4 or 5 screws - make sure you empty the beans first otherwise you will have a mess 3) remove one screw from the right hand side of the removable coffee ground tray. Once this screw is removed the front panel is free to swing open except for the pipes connecting the front 4) unclip the steam assembly - there are a couple of plastic catches on the top. this will free the steam assembly from the front panel and also free a pipe connections. The steam dispenser pipe will also come free from the steam assembly. 5) remove the coffee pipes from the up and down sliding coffee dispenser. This is a small whitish color clip with 2 pipes connecting into it. The white clip has a little plastic catch on the top that frees it. The front panel should now swing open freely. 6) remove the sliding coffee dispenser from the front door. There are 4 plastic catches, 2 on either side. the whole front sliding coffee displenser now comes free 7) Take the sliding dispenser apart by release the 4 plastic catches on the front curved planel. 8) Inside the sliding dispenser is a white plastic piece that connected to the piping released in step 5. There is a small plastic catch that needs to be pressed while pulling fairly hard on the plastic piece and bending the whole piece. 9) You will now see the plugged spouts. It goes back together really easily.

SOURCE: I have a Jura S9A that is about 2 years old,

It's all plugged with 'lime scale'. That's the white stuff that builds up from hard water. Regular vinegar run through at least two cycles will clear it, then a couple with fresh water to rinse it. That will bring it back to normal flow!

SOURCE: How do I disassemble and clean the brew unit motor

I have some good instructions I downloaded from www.kaffeestudio.com . They are in German, but with many pics. If you are technically adept, then it is really no prblem. You should put in new o'rings and lubricate with the food grade silicon grease before reassembly, otherwise it won't be long before you are doing it again. Give yourself about 3 hours to perform this task the first time. One thing to remember. The cleaning tablets tend to strip the lubrication from the brew units, subsequently binding up the brew unit, sometimes tearing the o'rings and giving the malfunction 8. Plan on this being an ongoing maintenance exercise. Plan on at least once every year or two to have to do this.

Jura Impressa X90 doesn't give water or coffee. Keeps saying: fill system

Hello, make sure the magnet in the water tank moves freely, sometimes it gets stuck with deposits, its a small black rectangle near the base. if its not free, you need to put some descaling solution it the tank to clear it.

Jura x90 flashes message fill powder and we don't use powder

It seems to be the microswitch on powder lid that`s not locking. Check if there`s something missing from the lid, and then maybe try to put something in to close the switch.
