Question about Vtech Cordless 6041 Phone
We have the VTech 6.0 phone system. We haven't had any problems with the system but now most incoming calls do not ring through nor will the answering machine work. The only way we can tell a call is coming in or came in is either from our TV screen (shows the phone number of incoming calls) or by caller ID. Altho periodically a call every now and again will ring.
I did not find any help for this issue in the manual. If you can give me any sugguestions how to correct this issue, I would be very grateful.

To remove "missed calls" on phone, press and hold "OFF" button on handset. This should remove "missed calls" message.

If you are using BSNL landline then you have to get the CLIP activated from the BSNL office. Please visit their nearest office and put in an application for this activation.

hi you need to programme the number into you caller id unit or extension.Also you need to confirm that caller i/d is envoked by your service provider. and ask them to test it .
