The gas gauge says full but then the gas tank is empty. the gauge is not working. how much does it cost to fix? How do you fix this? thanks. Melina.
The cost for the new part is relatively cheap, the labor will vary, but to fix it it involves dropping the tank down, unplugging and removing old putting in new, can be time consuming, prob have to replace tank straps, then you gotta get to the back of the gauge cluster and that can be tedious and time consuming too. easier and cheaper to estimate gas usage or just keeping the tank full-
