My SanDisk Sansa e250 mp3 player froze up while listening. Won't do anything including turn off.

well to turn it off just hold down the power button for anywhere from8 to 15 seconds or whenever it turns off. then turn it to hold, and press the record button as you turn it on again to bring it to recovery mode. you will need to instal a firmware. make sure it's for the sansa e 200 series. see if that works. It works for a lot of people...but sadly not me. If only someone could help me.

My computer recognize sansa express but drive does not open

Just to be sure, try both of these: First, try a soft reset. Do this by pressing the center button and the up volume button simultaneously and try turning it on. If that does not work for you, you will need to get a micro sd card (it can be a dummy) and insert it into the slot on the side of the mp3 player. If you do not have one, you can use one of the round edges of a paper clip (be careful) to get it to come on. When you put either in, it should come on automatically, but if not, just press the power button. This should work.

Mp3 won't turn off and the screen doesn't work

My Sansa wouldn't turn off and I got it to do so by pressing the center button while holding the main menu button down. But then once I did, it wouldn't boot back up.
