Little Shots Digital Camera pictues corrupt

My husband replaced the batteries in my daughter's camera which I'm not sure was completely full of pictures/video but at least mostly full. Now when the camera turns out, it says that it is full, but when we try to delete pictures, it says No File. When I connnect the camera to the computer, I see a bunch of corrupted files that I cannot open or delete. I'm not sure how to clear up the memory on the camera. Any ideas?
Thanks so much!

Remove the flat battery in the middle of the camera and the memory will reset itself, but you will lose your pictures, then after 10 minutes replace the flat battery and everything will be back to normal. if the flat battery is death change it for a fresh one.

good luck

Im tommy from nigeria,i use hp camera cb350 but it's a battery killer.i use energizer 2500mph rechargeable.after charging the maximum shots it takes is between 5 to 10,where as some of my friends takes...

Hi, Below are the tips to you : Digital camera use high current to make it works. Your 2 units battery 2500 mAh are normally worth for your camera. Your battery will get its full capacity after charged for 13-15 hours from designated charger ( I supposed you to use energizer charger). In your camera set your flasher to auto mode. This will save the power rather than use the flasher manually / all time. If after fully charged the battery and you still get the same performance. You may have wear down battery and need replacement. New battery required 24 hours charging before use at first time. Now install your new batteries. If you still get same problem, you've got problem with your camera internally.

Hello, peterdearsam,
I had exactly same issue with mine and tried so many ways to fix this. Was even ready to buy some new camera instead of this Sony dsc w-17 but then found a way of resetting camera in such way: powerdown and take batteries out. Then hold "power" button for 30 seconds, release and repeat couple of times. It helped

Low battery

As you have noticed, the battey is not charging completely which indicates a faulty battery. Too bad you didn't get it replaced when under warranty as they would have replaced it for you for free. ANyways you can get a replacement from here for about $14

Settings for dance/on stage action shots with no flash and low li

If there isn't good lighting on the stage (nevermind the auditorium), your 18-135mm lens does not have enough light-gathering ability for action shots, especially when you zoom in for that close-up of your daughter. Even at the highest ISO speed setting, you would likely have shutter speeds longer than 1/30 second, too slow to avoid camera shake and certainly too slow to freeze action. While a dreamy motion blur can make a nice impressionistic effect, I'm sure you want to recognize your daughter.

Sorry to say that the only solution for low-light, no-flash shots is to spend money on a fast lens. Either that or sneak in beforehand and put high-wattage lamps in the stage lights. The best value is the Nikon AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D lens available new with full warranty at B&H Photo (bhphotovideo.com) for $134.95 with free shipping. This lens gets highest marks in every professional review, and it's a huge value at that price. Or, if price is no object, go for the 50mm f/1.4D at $350. These are both prime lenses, not zoom, so you will want to get there early so you can choose your seat for the best view close to the stage.

http://www.mscustomercare.com/forms/Kids%20Camera%20Software.sitx, link for a Mac Also make sure to install the coin battery for the memory if it isn't already in the camera.. If your having issues, remove all the batteries and reinstall them. This clears and resets the camera. When deleting pictures do no do it with the computer,do it by the camera.

Error 18 powershot

The camera can take a couple of shots (clear and in focus), then stops working. Removing the batteries and replacing may produce 2-3 extra shots.

Canon's instructions (by phone) are to 'remove the batteries, rotate the on button and hold for 5 seconds, and then replace the battery'. The few lucky pictures are clear and in focus.

A better solution (not provided by Canon) is to connect the camera to the TV or a computer. This may completely solve the problem. If not, it may at least allow an extra 10-15 shots. There are several forums on the net that mention that connecting the camera to the TV completely resolved the E18 error.

A camera lens is out-of-focus. Some users have been able to manipulate the lens back into place (see reference links below). To fix the problem, it is often necessary that the camera and optical assembly is disassembled, realigned and reassembled. A non-warranty repair at an authorized service center reportedly costs between US $79 to $250.

File error

I have two S760 also having the 'file error' on just some shots Like graham-s-sk new sandisk 2gb and when downloaded the file is there but the attributes are currupted. Talked to Samsung who said the sd card should be formatted on the camera and not to rely on the Sandisk formatting. Have tried this and taken 100 test shots - so far so good!

By the way, try Fix #1 first with different fresh batteries.

I just bought new rechargeable batteries, and got only a few shots. Why so little usage from new batteries? Is something wrong?

Nothing is wrong with the camera or the batteries. Rechargeable batteries of all kinds will self-discharge over time. Charge them fully (if they are NiMH completely charge and discharge them a few times), and you should see full battery capacity.
