Once you have added either a USB or networked printer to your PC or Mac computer, you can begin sending documents to print. However, on occasion, a print command will create an error on the printer and take it offline, which will prevent all future jobs from printing. To resolve this issue, you will need to change your printer settings from offline to online. PC Instructions - Open the Start menu and click on the "Printers and Faxes" icon. This will open a window with a list of the printers currently set up on your computer.- Double-click on the icon of the printer you want to change to online. A pop-up window detailing all current print jobs will open.- Go to Printer in the menu bar of the pop-up window and uncheck "Use Printer Offline." This action will change the printer from offline to online.Mac Instructions - Open System Preferences by clicking on the icon in the Dock.- Go to the Print & Fax control panel under the Hardware category.- Select the printer you want to take online from the list on the left side of the screen. Then click on the "Open Print Queue" button.- Click on the "Resume Printer" button at the top of the queue window to change the printer from offline to online.
Click Start and then go to Printers and Faxes (XP), Printers(Vista), Devices and Printers(Win 7)
1. Right Click on your printer Icon
2. Click Open or See What's Printing
3. Click the option that says Printer on the upper left corner of the window that pops up.
4. Make sure the only thing that is checked under that menu is Set As Default Printer.
5. If Use Printer Offline or Pause Printing has a check mark. Uncheck it.
Try printing again. I hope this helped.

Hi talodyis,
Some how someone has created, (Copy2). (It shouldn't be there at all nor a Copy1).
Only an icon of the HP PCS 1110 series & HP PCS 1110 Fax.
Let's try the easy way to fix this first!
Left click the Start button once & slide up to & left click once on Printers and Faxes.
Printers and Faxes window will open. Find Copy2 & right click on it once, slide to & left click Delete. (Copy 2 should go away)!
You still have an listing of an HP 1110 here in Printers and Faxes window.
Find the HP 1110 series printer from the list, right click on it once & from within the pop-up window left click, Set as "Default Printer". That should do it. Play it safe & restart the system.
What do the status windows say?
And you have no printer connected? Delete them.
