There is one small red dot on my tv, what can i do about it?
You have a stuck sub pixel. There are some videos or DVD's that will flash random color patterns that "supposedly" will help fix stuck sub pixels. I've read where someone suggested taking a sharp pencil, plaving a soft tissue over the pencil point, and softly poke the sub pixel to get it unstick. I've never tried these so don't know if they will work for you.

Usually not but in some cases gently massageing the dot(tv turned on or off try both) with your finger may work (dont push too hard)
or put on a channel with static and try
your chances are slim though this is usually a defect in the lcd technology and most manufactures only warranty it for 5-7 stuck pixels

Decrease the Vs voltage on the power supply will fix the problem.

The only way to get rid of the red dot is to replace the screen portion of the TV. I hope it's under warranty because it won't be cheap.

It depends on the size, location and how many dead pixels. If remember less that 5 they won't do nothing about them. Call the warranty people and find out. they will for the location, size of pixel and quantities. Good luck to you.

If the unit has not previously had the PSU or Y-SUS boards replaced prior to this issue. Then it sounds like the voltages are off on one of those two boards. There is a process for checking those voltages and trying to adjust them. If those boards were recently replaced I would say the tech did not check voltage accuracy. But if it just happened out of no where go with the Y-SUS board as the problem. I say that because the unit powers on.
