MY T410 WAS RUNNING FINE ON BATTERY. I LEFT IT FOR FEW MINUTES AND WHEN I RETURN IT HAD SHUT DOWN. I TURNED IT ON, PLUGGED THE ADAPTER BUT IT'S STILL NOT COMING. THE POWER INDICATOR AND THE FINGER PRINT LIGHT ALL DO NOT COME. PLEASE HELP ME
I usually try to hold the power button for >5 seconds to reset it. No lights even when plugged in?
yes mike no light even when plugged in.
Shut down Unplug the power supply. Remove the battery. Insert power cord Reboot with power cord but no battery If it comes up, your battery is dead or weak Replace the battery. If you don't even get a flash, your power supply may be bad. Get a new power suppy. If it continues the restart cycling, then there's something wrong elsewhere.

Seems to be a problem of not enough power.
First check the voltage output of the charger(adapter) and match it with its specs.
Also try to reset the hardware using the following steps:
1 Disconnect battery and the charger
2 Let it sit for 1-2 minutes.
3 Press and hold down the power button for 30 seconds.
4 Reconnect battery and charger and try to start by pressing the power button.

I want to try a very simple thing, cause it happened to me, while I am working on my computer , it shut down unexpectedly... cause the processor is working with its full performance and no enough cooling around the laptop. so while I move to other place and also I raise the laptop a little bit from the back to let the fans (bottom of the laptop) works perfectly .
try to open it again and do so.... may be it is a so simple thing that was far from your mind like I was before... good luck

Hi.
Take out the AC power jack and then remove the laptop battery. Plug AC power back in and see if the laptop will turn on. If it turns on let it boot the operating system and then shut down as normal, remove the power cord and reinsert the battery and again see if it will switch on. If it does then there has been a glitch with the battery. If it doesn't then there is a problem with the battery.
If the laptop won't switch on either with or without the battery then there is a possibility that the motherboard has developed a problem.
Good luck.
