Motorola MD7161-2 owners manual

Assuming the battery is in the phone and fully charged, press and hold (for 2+ seconds) the button with the red icon on it on the right of the right arrow key. This is the Power On/Off and End button and the icon has two parentheses on their side. The top one is thicker than the bottom one and a vertical line is between them. If prompted to do so, enter your SIM code after the phone responds to the pressing of the button.
