My motorola always freezes when i try to txt or do anything that involves entering letters, the phone cant be turned off when its frozen so i have to take the battery out, put it back in, then turn it back on. Only applications that involve entering letters freeze the phone, for example,
.i want to txt the letter R so i press the 7 key three times, the phone then freezes.
.I turn the phone back on and dial 777 (same keys as above), the phone doesnt freeze
The phone works fine until i enter letters,
Is this a problem i can fix or is the phone just stuffed?!
I just purchased an A392G and was in process of adding Contacts. I cannot for the life of me what button to use to delete a character entered in error. The back key moves the cursor to left of the incorrect character but does not erase it. How does one delete an incorrect letter. For instance: I key "Jomes" wanting it to be "Jones". Apparently, the phone was requesting for a network unlock code. It hard locks when a wrong code has been insert for a number of times... You'd have to try to flash the phone
You can use mobile but with other sim card because puk code is for sim card not for phone,and puk code is only from numbers not letters,request your puk code from your phone operator.
When typing a text message or entering info in the phone book...phone always freezes on the 3rd letter...and the only way to get out of the freeze is to take the battery out and turn the phone back on once the battery is put back in....why does the phone freeze?

select setting
go to initial set-up
MASTER CLEAR your phone
your phone ask for your security code
the deafault of security code of motorola is (000000)
but some people change it.
enter your security code. and select ok/yes.
take note: your phone file will be lost'
such as pics., tones, and videos.
after master clear done..
do the same procedure
and select the MASTER RESET.
Ok so like go to new txt message and when it comes up go to your menu it should say something like insert, entry mode, and entry setup. depending on how you want it change the settings more than likely on entry setup to your preference but check entry mode to I can't xactly remember. hope that works for you.
Do you have too many text messages stored on your phone? I had a phone like that, If when I neared the storage limit it would stop allowing any entering of text messages. Just go to the menu button when your in the text message area and press the menu key, scroll down to cleanup messages, select it and delete them all.
