I had a nokia 6233 and a nokia 6234 and at both of those phones i had the same problem. This happens when the battery was used with other handsets before or when the battery is quite exhausted. Buy a new one!

If you are reffering to the sound during a call, then all you do is push the 12:00 position on the dial type button(multifunction switch) and that wiill increase the volume. If you are reffering to a video playback then yes the sound is way too low and the only solution is a headphone set. Thanks, Dana
