Do you need a user's guide?

1. E30 means a motor drive problem has occurred. Motor problem - check motor brushes, drive belt, tachometer or tachometer magnet, motor relay or PCB (TRIAC motor control).
2. The main control board in these machines has a relay that may fail because of bad solder joints. You will need to unpin the board to see behind where the white wires from the motor connect to this board, you will find the relay near to the edge. Check the solder joints for damage.

You said, you have a Hotpoint Ultima 1200 Washier dryer model WD71s and keep getting an E30 error code after it fills with water.
Any idea what the problem is?

This is what Hotpoint tells us!
E30 = A motor drive problem has occurred.Try running the programme again.
If the problem persists call for a Service Engineer.

BUT, I will tell you to unplug the appliance for 5 minutes and see if this resets the system and solves the error code.
Sometimes it is only a glitch and you can reboot and be alright if there is really no mechanical failure!!

code e30 means motor fault. this can be just motor brushes, tacho fault or module fault. can't narrow it down more than this - you will have to dive in and check
