oprn that folder and there you find the licence detail and fill in the licence detail and then turn off and turn on device and it will be done.

Try this: 1. Connect your device to the computer 2. Make a backup of your addresses and favorites if you wish 3. In File Explorer, right click on the device (removable drive) >> Format 4. Start the Desktop 5. Go to My Mio >> Reinstall the software 6. Go to My Mio >> Recover Keys 7. You can now reinstall the maps from the Maps tab. If you downloaded a map update, make sure to use the downloaded file. 8. Go to My Mio / Voice Transfer and re-install the voice files

If it's locked on the main screen and won't load, follow the below process.
If you want to unlock maps, you need to buy a key or update here:

To reload the software:

You may want to check if there is dirt stuck between the touch screen and the bezel. This can cause phantom screen touches.

You may want to update your unit too, that should reset it and fix any known bugs. Please visit the manufacturer at www.mio.com for updates

Question: Is there a map update available for my C-series device?
Answer: We are working on newer map updates with Mio More Express software for C-series devices: C220/S, C320, C520, C720t. The products are in DVD media because the big size is not practical for download. Pleasse check back with Mio support later while slight USB driver issue is under investigation.

go to the manufactures website..ther will/should be a link to software/map upgrades and updates. Most have a search bar on the main page that you can type in.... map updates for xxxx model (xxx being your units model number)

you cna't update, only reload original from the cd that came with your gps

Turn the power switch on the bottom of the unit off for at least 30 seconds.
