plugged tv in (WS-55859) and have the green blinking light problem! Help please
Blinking green light, has been reset and unplugged and still blinking and no power. How do we fix it ourselves?
We had a bad power outage due to storm. Now the Mits WS-55859 won't power on... the green timer light blinks for a full 5 minutes, then stops for 1-2 seconds, then blinks again for 5 min, on & on, etc.etc.... we have tried the reset instructions per the manual but nothing is working, the tv will not come on....how do I fix this myself? I just got laid off and don't really have the money to call a repairman! Thanks, anyone!! TJ
Power went off when a circuit got overloaded today from a space heater. SInce coming back on, green timer light has been blinking. Set won't turn on. I see TechGuru has a solution he can email in case it is the DM board. If you or anyone else has a solution to this problem, please email me the instructions.
I have the same problem. In the past, it would correct itself within a few days. We had a power outage 8 days ago and the darn light is still blinking. I can't afford a new set (and shouldn't have to by once since this set is only 6 years old). Any solutions would be greatly appreciated.
I also have blinking timer light after power has been off a short time. I would appreciate it if anyone could help.
Thanks
Same problem. Power went out, now the blinking green light is on and the set isn't. Tried to contact Mitsubishi support--what a nighmare. For a tech company their phone system is ****. Does anyone have a solution? We've only had the set for about 6 years and have put over $600 in repairs into it...
