We have a broken door hinge on our Stoves DFa oven. i have the hinge kit but it has no assembley instructions. we are trying to source the assembley instructions for this model of oven, can someone please help!
Firstly careful as the hinges have strong springs and it is easy to trap
fingers. Also do not lift oven by front door handle as you will break
the glass - they cost 170 pounds.
Remove the side panel on the appropriate
side held on by 2 screws at the front and 2 at the back. This gives
access to change the hinge. Open door and put nail through hole to hold
hinge open. Slide inner glass up and remove. The outer door has to
pulled off the hinge after removal of the plastic insert which hold its
in place and also supports the inner glass. This plastic peg is tricky
to get out. If it breaks you have to drill it out! Other than the peg
issue it is not a difficult job.

I've got exactly the same problem, in my case I've had to order a new hinge assembly from Stoves, because part of the hinge uses a plastic insert that slides into the door frame and it is broken. I spoke to the technical parts team and they were very helpful.

check to see if one of the oven elements are burned into if you have an oven cord on it turn the breaker off and check the cord where it connects to the oven

Hi.
The most probable cause is failure in your panel cooling fan 9not the one inside your oven)
If the appliance switches on again after 15 - 20 minutes then the fault is most likely here.
Unfortunately as you have gas the you will need a Gas Safe Certified engineer to repair

SOURCE: How do I remove the
My range is a different brand, but the door comes off real easy. Open it to the first detent, and then pull straight up on it to slide it off the hinges. Be careful though, the hinges are spring loaded and if you bump them they will easily come off the detent and slamm to the closed position. This will not only scare the sh..it out of you, but will also pinch your fingers real good if you're not careful.
Good luck,
Gary B.
