I have an anne klein 10-8755svtt automatic watch, that will not keep ticking. i was told that it was a knectic (sp) watch, that movement will keep it running. however, that doesnt seem to work. i do not see that it is operated by a battery. do you have a solution to this problem?
First you have to find out if your watch is (as you say) automatic. If it is, then it is NOT kinetic and you will need a proper watchmaker to get it going.
My experiance is: there are NO automatic or kinetic watches in Anne Klein range. All of them are or were battery driven. Might be you came across the one auto, but it's hard to believe.
To make sure: Try wind it up. If you don't hear the specific sound, this is not an auto watch. If the winder(crown) is easily moving back and forth- your watch is battery driven.
