SHARP LC-32SB24U. AV MODE KEEPS GOING BACK TO DYNAMIC FIXED .

FRUSTRATED. NEED HELP . WHY DOESN' T THE AV MODE I SELECT WHICH IS STANDARD STAY IN STANDARD. AFTER A FEW MINUTES THE AV MODE RETURNS TO DYNAMIC FIXED.

  • scb0206 Jan 31, 2009

It resets after every 30 minutes. You can set your clock to it. I don't know how to fix it. It's quite annoying for the color to abruptly change three times in the middle of a movie...

I have the same tv and i just fixed it! mine was a display model at wal mart so it was set to reset to Dynamix (fixed) after 30 minutes of no remote activity

THE FIX: switch to TV MODE and select the EZ SETUP from the option menu
when you get to the TV LOCATION option select HOME

The STORE option resets the TV after 30 mins of remote control inactivity in case someone messes up the picture settings in case someone playing with it while it was on display at the store

  • Anonymous Mar 23, 2009

Correction: It is under the SETUP menu NOT the OPTION menu

Make sure you switch to TV MODE or the EZ setup option will not appear

13 years later and this is still a problem. Sharp could not fix my tv which was resetting to Dynamic(fixed) every 20 minutes exactly. This article got me to check. I found the location was set to Store. I changed it to home and the problem was solved. Thank you for posting about this.

The tv viewing of TV shows and movies seem fake. The camera angles don't seem movie like but more like a video camera. What setting do I need on my 60" LCD sharp

Try cycling through all of the av modes by pressing the av mode button on your remote to see if you like movie or standard. You are most likely in av mode dynamic fixed at the moment.

I need help with setting the color on my sharp aquos LC-40LE820UN. My reds are brown,my greens are brown, and my blues are very bright.

If the colors do not change when pressing the av mode button and selecting dynamic fixed then there is either a problem with the component cables you are using (most likely), a problem with your set top box or a problem with the television. I recommend trying another set of cables first. Try all of the television's inputs and connect different devices to it.

I used to be able to change picture mode (dynamic fixed) (standard) etc.. but now stuck on standard. I have lost the picture mode option and can't get it back to the brighter richer (dynamic fixed mode). ...

Go in the tv menu, right at bat u in the Picture mode go down the menu to reset push it.The Tuner board will reset it self.It will be set on the Dynantic fixed mode. And the AV mode button on the remote should able to changes back and fourth again Dynamic fix mode,Dynamic mode,Standard mode,User mode,Game mode. Not able to changes by pushing the remote button AV mode to changes, than ur Tuner board have problems, not working properly.

Sharp lc-32sb24u need owners manual

here is direct from SHARP (appears to be same one Silverdragon just posted seconds before me...)

SEE
http://www.sharp.ca/manuals/default2.asp

scroll down to "LC32SB24U Operation Manual 1.63 Mb EXE" and select the corresponding [download] button.
(there is entry for French too just below it)

the downloaded file is LC32SB24U_OM.exe
this extracts to LC32SB24U_OM.pdf
...which is the Sharp LC-32SB24U and LC-37SB24U Operational Manual in English. You need Adobe Reader to view PDF file.

Good Luck!

T.V. won't allow me to adjust color and sound...

Chepe_77,

You are absolutely correct. The reason why you cannot change your audio and video settings are due to the fact that you are in "Dynamic Fixed". Which is one of your many av modes. Av modes are different preset color settings and dynamic fixed is the only one that will lock your settings. Best Buy set it that way so that people could not just come by and alter the settings on the unit. AV modes are on all sharp lcd products and even though you have the wrong remote you should have an av mode button on the remote that came with it. Try pressing the av mode button and see what happens. When you press the av mode button, you will see your av modes change at the bottom of the screen. However, the issue still remains that you have the wrong remote. So there is a chance that you may press the av mode button on the remote that you have, but it still will may not work ONLY because you have the wrong remote. If the remote you have does not work, I GUARANTEE that pressing the av mode button on the proper remote will take care of that. If you dont want to purchase the remote from sharp, www.partstore.com is a good place. Good luck to you

My audio and video options are locked.

On your remote, click on "AV Mode." Then change the setting from "dynamic fixed" to any of the other options (you'll probably want dynamic, which is the next option). Then click on "menu." Then you should be able to adjust the video and the audio.
