My "DE" light is flashing on the front panel. I have push "system check/reset" and it cycles through all the other functions but still the "DE" light flashes. What's going on?
The DE error comes up when the refrigerator has not detected a defrostcurrent within a certain amount of time. This is most often the resultof a burnt out defrost heater. The refrigerator will likelykeep working for a week or so until the frost builds up and blocks theair flow over the evaporator (the cooling coils behind the back wall ofthe freezer). The defrost heater is located at the bottom of saidevaporator.
You can try your zip code in http://www.geappliances.com/buy/ and look for a servicing dealer.

Open the front panel by pushing on it. Pressing on the panel releases the lock and allows the front panel to pop open slightly. Pull the corner gently to open the panel completely.
Use a pointed object, such as the sharpened end of a pencil or the tip of a paper clip, to push the "System Reset" button.
Wait about one minute, or until the green LED light on the front panel display stops flashing.
Turn your television back on once the green LED light turns off.
this is procedure for most mitsubishi dlp.
