Moving tv to another cable outlet

My insignia tv in the bedroom has no signal. It was working fine till I undid the cable in the living room. Moved the tv in the living room ...reconnected it. And now no signal in the bedroom.

Yes. Just be sure to arrange the cord so that people don't trip over it.

Follow these steps:
•Plan out your setup. Before you start unpacking speakers and moving furniture, it's a good idea to have a placement scheme in mind.

Consider the location of the outlets in your home theatre room. If possible, choose a room powered by a single circuit breaker to reduce the risk of damage due to the overload your home theatre system might cause. Supplement the number of outlets with power strips.

Place your TV. The television should be placed where it can be viewed straight on. The center of the screen should be aligned with the eyes of a seated person.

Place your speakers before you start hooking things up. If there are hearing-imparied people in your household, place the speakers so that someone could sit directly next to at least one speaker.

Position your central channel speaker above or below your TV. If you put it on top of your TV, make sure the front edge of the speaker is aligned evenly with the front of your TV screen.

Place your front left and right speakers at equal distances on either side of your TV. The height of your left and right speakers should match the height of your central channel speaker.

Put your surround speakers at equal distances to the left and right of where you would normally sit and view your TV. Do not point your surround speakers directly at your viewing position. Try pointing them toward the back of the room or toward the ceiling.

Place your subwoofer to the side of the room, about halfway between your viewing position and your TV. You can adjust the bass reaction of your subwoofer by moving it closer to a wall to increase the bass, or by moving it away from a wall to decrease it.

Connect your speakers and theater system by running flat speaker cables down the length of your baseboard or lower portion of your wall. Consult your owner's manual for exact instructions.

It can be the cable outlet is bad, or the cable itself. Try it again in the old room or try another TV with this cable outlet. You are not using cable box, right?

Or www.digikey.com just make sure to use caps with low ESR, 105c, high ripple current, long life rating such as PANASONIC FM or FC series..

you can try using a good quality surge strip on the tv. if that doesent do it you could try a different outlet on the other side of the room, or try using an outlet from a different room(long extension cord) if that doesent do it you may have to move the tv to another wall.

tSounds like you have a PIP window open. Is everything else black excpet for that small "internet box?"

Try it again in the original room where the TV once was. If the channels from 47 and up are back to normal, its a cable signal issue that the cable company must resolve. Its possible that the installer may have driven a staple thru the coaxial cable or did not correctly attach the fittings.

I know how that is,,,weve got blinds then some curtains,,if im watching a movie or playin a game,,i will shut the curtains,, you can also ajust the color 2,,,good luck

you may bypass the box by using a straight connector, find the cable that lead to the TV room and connect it to the cable from the aerial antenna.
