SOURCE: Can photos that were accidentally deleted from a SD card be recovered

There is a Windows undelete software at the link below. I have never tried this software, but only know it from reading articles about it. There is a trial version. It is not a free software. I would think it should work on your memory card since it is addressed like a disk drive.

http://www.winundelete.com/?rid=google&kid=wu0406

If you do a Google search for Windows undelete files, I am sure you will find other utilities that will do the job.

When files are deleted, the files are flagged as deleted, and not actualy deleted at the time unless the operating system has a feature to scramble or wipe the file. The delete flag indicates that the space is available to be over-writen. To undelete a file, the delete flag has to be changed back in the directory tables, and the FAT has to be updated to match.

If you wrote anything more to the memory card, then there is a chance that the original files have been written over. Then it will be impossible to undelete the files where their original space has been overwritten.

If you can get into the menu and find "reset" you could return the camera to factory settings.

SOURCE: Cant download photos off SD card. When I try to

First check the tab on the card, you might have just accidentally pressed the tab. It makes it 'read only' kind of like the old floppy disk (A disks for computers). If this doesn't solve it your pictures are gonners.

You can reformat and it should be good as new. If that doesn't allow it, then its your SD card being corrupted.

Hi John ,

you might have to go out and buy a flash drive that hold a micro sd card so you can plug it unto oyur computers USB ports, you can pick these up for under a fiver.

also you could try putting the micro-sd card into your mobile phone if you have one and format the card from there.

Hope this helps.

How can i transfer pictures from acer iconia to memory card

This Tablet Personal Computer [PC] takes Micro Secure Digital [SD] Cards. To transfer pictures from a Digital Camera to this PC, if the Camera also takes Micro SD cards, is simply a matter of removing the Micro SD card from the Camera and installing it in the PC's Micro SD Card Slot and then waiting for the PC's AutoPlay function to serve up the photo files stored on the card, which can then be Dragged and Dropped into a photo folder on the PC.

If the Camera takes SD Cards, then a Micro SD to SD Card Adapter is required so that the PC's Micro SD Card can fit in the camera before pictures are taken and then disconnected from the adapter afterwards, for re-insertion in the PC.

If the Camera takes a different type of Memory Card, then a Multi Card Reader might be required, which would be connected to the computer's USB Port and the Memory Card slotted into its matching slot in the Card Reader.
