You can use any brand of two stroke oil as long as it says on the container that it is suitable for air cooled engines and you need to mix it at a ratio of 25 to 1. Regards Phil
If ever in doubt, always run them on a 25-1 fuel oil mix, this is good for any small two stroke engine, always use a good two stroke oil designed for use in chainsaws, not out board oil.
Use the 50:1 ratio oil mix.the oil bottle will tell you how much oil that you will need to mix with how much gas you have,40:1 will make the trimmer smoke too much and it will foul plugs prematurely but won't hurt the machine.
I use 40:1 in mine always have works perfect 3.2oz of reputable 2 cycle oil to one gallon of fresh gas
try to find the oil that has fuel stabilizer already in it
