HP Photosmart 7550 - Full Page Photo Printing Jams at end

If I try printing an 8x10 photo image - the printer will "jam" (I use quotes because the printer does not appear to think it's jammed - rather it thinks it is done). It always happens when the job is about 90% complete. The print just stops - the ink cartridge returns to its cradle but the paper doesn't get spit out - it gets held on to. Printing full color papers from the web has no problem

Normal 0 I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it will feed through the printer. The reason for this, is in some cases I have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there over time.
Worth a try, as I have fixed a number of printers this way, saving costly repairs.
Hope this helps. Bud

Will the hp photosmart printer use 8x10 photo paper?

You will have to check the equipment driver itself. While attempting to print, try changing the page size (go to page setup). This will give you an idea.

The kodak gloss paper gets jammed in my hp photosmart 7350 printer towards the end of printing photos

You have an HP printer. I highly recommend you use HP photo paper for the best results. This may not solve your jamming problem but it may. HP printers are very touchy as to what photo paper you use.

Assuming a 2 cartridge system, and you want B&W or sepia, pull the color cartridge and print away! Works for my HP DJ 5440.

HP 7550 PhotoSmart Printer prints photos with an unpleasant green hue.

If it's a B&W or sepia photo, and you wanted to print B&W or grayscale anyway, pull the color cartridge (assuming a 2 cartridge system). I did that with my HP DJ 5440 and it works perfectly.
