Bought the SDHC R4 for my DS lite. Loaded games onto it and all was fine. But when I put it into my DS and turned it on, all I got was 'loading....' and nothing else happens. Only using a 2GB memory card in it, so why won't it work My son has the normal R4 and has no problems with this at all. had the same problem if you can get an r4 card you no works copy entire contents over to your card then delete ther games and add yours but keep there kernal . dont forget to format your card b4 copying ther card
could be the card..... sorry my 4gb micro sdHC didnt work on my phone nor games n music for my ds. sorry to big and the r4 isnt compatible with the 8gb sdhc,,, also i mod psps and there way cooler!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The last official firmware for the original R4 was v1.18, the R4 SDHC needed different firmware as it's from a different manufacturer. You need the 1.34 software available from this download page if you have the real black box one: R4 Firmware
