How to disassemble case.

I've got one with water damage and need to get inside. I've removed all the visible screws on the back panel, but top portion is still held in place solidly. What is the trick to removing the back panel?

Pry the metal spring clip in the base of the hotshow toward the rear of the camera with a pocketknife, itll pop out and there will be 4 small screws under there, Ill put a buck on that bet. The hotshoe needs some good anchors to support some beefy flash units so it has screws to hold it down, metal hotshoe to metal chassis.

The 4 screws are under the hotshoe on my C-5050 too and there are some screws under the flash memory door too. There was a total of 11 screws on the C-5050, dont forget the screws around the tripod socket. oh yeah and if you want to part it out, give me a ring...

Braun Battery dead How do disassemble it

Braun 9-in-1 Trimmer - Disassembly/Battery Replacement (youtube.com)

Remove the Screws: First, you'll need to remove any screws that hold the device together. Look for visible screws on the casing or housing. Use the appropriate screwdriver (usually a Phillips or Torx) to carefully unscrew them.

Open the Casing: Once the screws are removed, gently pry open the casing. Be cautious not to damage any delicate components inside. You can use a flathead screwdriver or a plastic opening tool for this step.

Access the Battery: Inside the casing, you'll find the battery. Depending on the specific Braun device, the battery may be soldered in place or connected via a connector. If it's soldered, you'll need to desolder the connections. If it's connected via a connector, carefully disconnect it.

Replace the Battery: If you have a replacement battery, insert it in place of the old one. Make sure to observe the correct polarity (positive and negative terminals). Secure the battery back in its position.

Reassemble the Device: Put the casing back together, aligning all the components properly. Screw it back in place.
Test the Device: Once reassembled, check if the device powers on. If it does, congratulations! You've successfully replaced the battery.

How can I disassemble a Tefal Easy Fry EY1018 airfryer?

  1. Unplug the air fryer: Before starting any disassembly, ensure the air fryer is unplugged from the power source to prevent electrical accidents.
  2. Remove the basket and pan: Take out the cooking basket and pan from the air fryer and set them aside.
  3. Locate screws or clips: Examine the exterior of the air fryer for any visible screws or clips that hold the casing together. These are typically located on the underside or at the back of the unit.
  4. Remove screws or clips: Using the appropriate tools (such as a screwdriver or pry tool), carefully remove the screws or unclip the casing to access the internal components.
  5. Separate the casing: Gently pry apart the casing of the air fryer, being mindful not to force it and to avoid damaging any internal components.
  6. Disassemble internal components: Once the casing is removed, you may have access to the internal components of the air fryer, such as the heating element, fan, and control panel. Take note of the arrangement of parts and any connections.
  7. Proceed with caution: Handle internal components carefully and avoid causing damage or disconnecting any wires or cables unnecessarily.
  8. Reassemble: After completing the necessary maintenance or repairs, carefully reassemble the air fryer in the reverse order, ensuring all parts are properly aligned and securely fastened.
  9. Test the air fryer: Before using the air fryer again, plug it into a power source and test that it functions correctly.
If you're unsure about disassembling your Tefal Easy Fry EY1018 air fryer, it's advisable to consult the user manual or seek assistance from a qualified technician or customer support representative.

How to open a Targus Chill Mat Pad AWE61US N2953

Without specific details about the type or model of the mat you're referring to, it's challenging to provide precise disassembly instructions. However, I can offer some general tips that might help you access the inside of the mat for cleaning without causing damage:
  1. Consult the Manual: If the mat came with a user manual or assembly instructions, refer to these documents first. They often contain disassembly guidelines or tips for cleaning.
  2. Look for Access Panels or Fasteners: Many mats or fitness equipment have access panels secured by screws, clips, or fasteners. Carefully inspect the mat's exterior for any visible fasteners or panels that might provide access to the inside components.
  3. Check for Removable Parts: Some mats might have removable parts like covers or casings designed for cleaning purposes. Gently try to detach these removable components, following any instructions in the manual or indications on the mat.
  4. Contact Manufacturer Support: If you're unable to find a way to disassemble the mat safely or if you're concerned about causing damage, consider reaching out to the manufacturer's customer support. They can provide specific guidance on disassembly and cleaning for your particular mat model.
  5. Online Resources: Look for online resources such as instructional videos or forums where individuals might have shared tips or experiences on disassembling and cleaning similar mats.
Always approach disassembly cautiously to avoid causing damage or voiding any warranties. If you're unsure or uncomfortable about disassembling the mat yourself, seeking professional assistance from a technician or contacting the manufacturer for guidance might be the best course of action.

How to remove safely plastic casing on Krups XP9000

Remove book holder at back by pulling it off by hand. Undo the screws visible at the back cover, there's about 4 or 5 or so there. Unclip that centre back panel now screws are out. Remove clear beans cover, remove water tank, lift up the lid to drop grounds direct to brew chamber. Both side lids in open position. Now firmly grip the top cover and try and slide it directly backwards. If it is stuck a firm thump against the front side of the cavity you removed the water tank from while still pulling the top cover backwards will free it up. The sides lift directly upwards to get them off. When replacing the water tank side panel you need the front door open to clear a little spring leg.

I want to disassemble to clean around the top of the basket. How do I disassemble this washer?

These instructions are for Kenmore top load machines. Disconnect the power cord. There is either two screws, one at each front corner, holding the control panel in place or hidden clips. 1. If you see the two screws remove them. If no screws are visible you have a clip at each front corner of the control panel. The best tool to use to unhook these clips is a putty knife. Push the putty knife between the machine top and the front of the control panel at either outer corner. You will feel a spring tension. Push firmly, but not to forcefully toward the back. When the spring releases the control panel corner will lift easily. Repeat at the other corner. 2. Now, if there was two screws holding the panel, remove the two screws at the top on the back of the control panel. If just clips, simply and carefully roll the control panel over the back. 3. Unplug the wire that connects the control panel to the case top. Stop here and take note as to how the case connects to the back panel. There is an aligner there that will be your hardest part to deal with later. This will help when reassembling. 4. OK, Put a slotted screw driver into the clips at the back corners on the top and release them, once again take note to their positioning. The outer case hooks under the front of the frame and the sides have a slot that goes over a pin near the back of the frame side. (Front under, sides on top of frame)Tilt the case up on back and pull forward. Congrats you are there. Make needed repair and reassemble reversing procedure. Allow 30 to 45 minutes for the first removal. Good luck.

Water leaking from kenmore top load washer

If the plastic piece you are refering to is the pump, yes it is replaceable. The pump is on the front of the motor on the under side of the machine. It is located front and center and has a history of wearing the case from the inside out. The part is available at www.sears.com under the parts direct tab. You will need your model number to find your machine and then the replacement pump. The model number is three digits a decimal and the remanider of the number, aka. 110.5555555. The model mumber is usually under the lid, on a top loader. Instructions are not included with the pump, so if needed here they are./// This will remove the case.///
