Cant download itunes or any other programs

Click start all programs navigate to iTunes right click select send to desktop to make short cut , or pin to task bar might be another option depending on your operating system.

or you might download iTunes and Quick time again.

try this location ..and also take a look on the browser bar ..and be sure the browser it is not blocking the download..If it does ..click on the last bar ..and than click allow download ..Once downloaded ...just double click and install the program ..and restart the laptop when you finish ..

And download the driver for the sound card or audio

The file needs to be unziped when downloaded

Right click the iTunes install program and click "Run as an Administrator". This will give you full access. Letme know if this works!

EDIT:
What version of Vista are you running??? (eg Home Premium x86 or 64bit, etc.) and also, is your account a Limited or Administrator???

EDIT 2:
Also, have you installed Quicktime or iTunes ever before on your computer with Vista??? If you did, you have to login to the account that installed it before.

EDIT 3:
Vista is really weird with quicktime and iTunes., so basically your problem is that you have to be on the user name that installed quicktime, using the "Run as Administrator" option. Ive seen this before with Vista and it has to do with ownership permissions.

recover/re-install OS

Try to load the notebook with safemode by pressing F8 while booting. After booting the notebook with safe mode, uninstall the itune application. For this go to control panel and then select add or remove programes, then select the itune application and click remove button.

In the start menu you should find a webcam capture program, or in my computer you should be able to see the webcam as a folder. If you open either of these the camera should work. If you want to add webcam features to MSN, you need to run the Audio/Video setup wizard in MSN Messenger. If you cant do either of these things then you need to check that the BIOS is not set to "OS SETUP" mode. Check the user manual on how to do this.

Click messenger top left, scroll down and click preferences then scroll down and click webcam where you can make adjustments, click o.k. To make sure it is o.k. click messenger top left, scroll down and click my webcam. and your webcam should come on. You should also run your call setup. Click actions top row of the messenger window scroll down click call setup and follow the prompts. When you are chatting with someone click on webcam in the chat window.
