It might of crashed main files of your hard drive. you may need to reformat your Hard Drive. NOTICE: by doing this you will loose everything on your hard drive. All music, pictures and EVERYTHING will be lost! comment back if you want to continue formatting

could be. Sounds like it. do you have any access to any kind of desktop or any files? if so download afree anti virud to a CD and try to put it on your desktop. Umm if you have a resource cd insert that then hit F12 as soon as your computer starts. You want a boot menue to select the boot device to boot off of. then select the IDE CD-Rom device. then is should go through loading then select some type of hardware scan like a diognostic test of your whole system then tell me what you get back after you run the test.

    Thanks

My internet explorer keeps shutting down crashing and box comes on that internet explorer has stopped working and then the details describe APPcrash what do i do to restore? i paid and ran regtool to fix...

Hi! IE 8 has some errors / bugs in genuine itself, so if there is any bug in system, then these both errors lead to IE struck mode.

please consider to remove the present IE and try to install IE 6 or IE 7 for the time being that to if you want to do in IE, otherwise try to opt for Mozilla or chrome.

but the word "APPcrash" represents word of "application crash", so better to install fine one before complete uninstall of present one.

Don't forget to mention error code in next reply mail if the problem still exists with above operations!

Hi this is priya my laptop HP Pavilion dv6000 is having a problem

This indicates that the reason why Windows Explorer crashed is because of CLMedia.dll file. This file is part of CyberLink software. Try reinstalling CyberLink applications you have on your computer if the problem persists.

Well if it continues to crash then theres a bigger problem
but a way to make it recover if the EXPLORER.EXE crashes is to hit
CTRL+ALT+Del

File
New task
Then type Explorer.exe and it should reload itsself and be back to normal
i also suggest running a scan with Ad Aware 2008 just in case wat u downloaded could by spyware

Windows explorer has stopped working

There is probably a problem with one of the add-ons that the browser runs. Go to the internet options and "manage add-ons." Disable anything that looks suspicious.

Hi, when did this symptoms start on your PC? after a windows system update?
Try to remove your present explorer with its previous version... try a rollback of the system to a time before you had this problem. Did it help? Leave me some feedback. Good luck and bye.
