The one that turns left by itself has come loose from the turning servo, you must take the body off to look

SOURCE: My RC Traxxas Stampede stop working. The steering

Spin the rear wheels and make sure nothing such as a small stone is binding something up in the driveline. Check to make sure the motor has not gotten disconnected from the ESC. If you still have problems with it post again and I will try to look further into it.

SOURCE: My traxxas 3.3 monster steering is twitchy but is

I hate to say this but... the reversed steering problem could be in the remote or in the chassis. Reversing the 2 wires on the steering servo would most likely the quickest fix. However.... what you really have is a product defect.
If you have a receipt I would recommend exchanging it at the retailer or go through the nightmare of a product warranty before doing any repairs.

Traxxas offers a 30-day limited warranty on all their electronic components and a two-year, manufacturer-defect warranty. You have a manufacturers defect.

I hope this points you in the right direction. I personally would not mess with an under warranty unit. It would void the warranty.

Trying to fix steering on a toro 360 quad steer, cant get it to track strait from front to back wheels.

If you're having trouble getting the Toro 360 quad steer to track straight from front to back wheels, there are a few potential issues that could be causing the problem:

- Wheel alignment: If the front and back wheels are not properly aligned, this can cause the steering to be off. Make sure to check the alignment of both the front and back wheels, and adjust them as necessary.
- Tire pressure: Uneven tire pressure can also cause the steering to be off. Make sure all tires are inflated to the recommended pressure.
- Steering linkage: Check the steering linkage for any signs of wear or damage. Replace any worn or damaged parts as necessary.
- Steering gear: The steering gear may need to be adjusted or replaced if it is causing the steering to be off.
- Suspension: Issues with the suspension system can also affect the steering. Make sure to check the suspension for any damage or wear, and replace any damaged parts.

If you're still having trouble getting the Toro 360 quad steer to track straight, it may be a good idea to take it to a professional mechanic for further inspection and proper fixing.

You need to take your car to a suspension specialist and also get them to check the front and rear wheel alignment.

To keep car strait on a road, I have to turn steering wheel slitly left. What is it?

Have all tires pressures checked and adjusted as necessary first. Other things to check would be wheel alignment, and check for brake possibly holding, or dragging as well.

The truck turns great to the left but very little to the right.

Check the alignment of the wheels. With the controller turned on, do the wheels appear crooked? If so, the steering trim may be able to fix it. Does the car go straight when you are not steering? The trim fixes this, also. This is the best I can help. Your local hobby store can help.

Well, the front end alignment is one of those things that really isn't hard to do but for a lot of people seeing is what flips the "aha!" switch. I'm including a link to the Traxxas Support Youtube channel; lot's of info there for owners and links to other R/C. Traxxas Support

Fixed Properly: You need to bring it to a shop- Modica Bros/Pep Boys/Firestone/Disount Tire/Etc. It's a simple alignment and it'll cost somewhere in the $120 price range - possibly less.

I have a fiat idea. It recently had new tyres and the wheels were aligned symmetrically. However, this left the self-centring of the electric steering slightly left of centre. I don't think the wheel...

I am not familiar with this particular car, but every car has a mechanical way of adjusting the steering linkage such that the steering wheel will be centered, even if this means removing the steering wheel and replacing it in the correct spot. A lot of VW's are done this way. What has happened with your car is simply laziness on the part of the technician. He could have insured that your steering wheel was straight through counter adjustments in the steering linkage and properly test driving the car. I do wheel alignments for a living and would never let a car go like this. Take it back, demand it be fixed properly, ask for a print-out of the alignment, if they can't provide a print-out, ask for your money back and take the car somewhere that can.
