I have a sharp aquos tv, model LC-42D62U, and had a sound bar attached that worked great. When I remove the soundbar I can’t get the TV sound to turn on. I have trouble shot a lot of things. The problem...

I do not have sharp manuals to reference - in general the TV sound - Variable vs Fixed just allows the set to control the volume output (variable) or Fixed will produce one level of output and your device (soundbar) volume control would adjust up or down from there. There is usually another location in the menu that allows you to turn off the TV speakers so they do not operate at the same time as your soundbar or other device. It should be simply Speaker ON / OFF. If you can locate this - you should be able to select it. If it is all greyed out - that means the TV believes based on the connections / setting / input selection - those cannot be changed. (you may try connecting the device and see if the greyed out menu items turn back white or are selectable. Sorry I don't have a specific answer - hope this helps

How do you set up a mobile network

Go to 'Menu > Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile networks > Access point names', and make sure your carrier's data plan name is shown there. If so, tap over it and change the data, mainly 'APN', 'Username' and 'Passowrd', according to your carrier's instructions. Otherwise, i.e. if there is no data plan shown at all, tap 'Menu > New APN', and fill in the required data. Either way, after you finish, tap 'Menu > Save'. Then, press the back button as many times as required to take you where you were, before you started changing these settings.
Hope it works for you.
Anyway, please, let me know if you need additional informations.

586c is supposed to track a 1/4 inch jig to 70 feet but it won't track and 8-10 lb lead cannonball weight at all. Is there and adjustment to the settings that needs to be made to track a hard object?

Go to the Menu and check your settings. There are tolerances you can adjust the sensitivity so it will track smaller objects. Here is a helpful link to the manual for your Humminbird if you don't have it.

I dont seem to have internet access i did 4-5 days back but now nothing Its a Motorola Defy I must have dissabled it unintentionally....

If you mean you want to access the internet through your mobile data plan, go to 'Menu > Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile networks > Access point names', and make sure your carrier's data plan name is shown there. If so, tap over it and change the data, mainly 'APN', 'Username' and 'Passowrd', according to your carrier's instructions. Otherwise, i.e. if there is no data plan shown at all, tap 'Menu > New APN', and fill in the required data. In both cases, after you finish, press 'Menu > Save'. Then, press the back button as many times as required to take you where you were, before you started changing these settings.
On the other hand, if your intention is to access the internet through your phone's Wi-Fi card, go to 'Menu > Settings > Wireless & networks > Wi-Fi settings', and, if the 'Wi-Fi' checkbox is unticked, tick it. After a little while, a list of available networks will be shown. If you want to refresh that list, tap 'Menu > Scan'. Anyway, if the network you want to connect to is in the list, tap over it and tap 'Connect'. You will be prompted to fill in the passphrase (if any). Otherwise, i.e. your network is not shown (e.g. it is hidden), tap 'Add Wi-Fi network', fill in its name, under 'Network SSID', the security encryption method, and the password (if any). Then, tap 'Save'. You can also specify your Wi-Fi sleep policy and other settings, by tapping 'Menu > Advanced'. After you finish, tap 'Menu > Save'. Again, press the back button as many times you need to go back to where you were before.
By the way, if your phone's user guide happens to be missing, feel free to download it from this location.
Anyway, please, let me know if I can help you out any further.

How do I adjust screen brightness for night use?

The Power/Light is used to turn your GPS on and off as well as to adjust the background and back light. To adjust the back light press the power/light key to access the light and background menu. Use the 4 way cursor key to select light or background. Then use the left to right cursors to change the settings. Then press exit to exit the light/background menu. This should answer your question.

Hi!
Go into the menu (press menu twice) and look for the alarms tab. There is a setting you can change for a low battery warning, make sure it is set to off or as low as you can get it. Also it may be time for a software upgrade (available at a service center)
Best of luck!

My humminbird 947c does not appear to be displying the correct heading while at the dock

Hi!
Please go into the menu and select the 'Nav' tab then choose the 'Chart Orientation' setting and set to 'North - Up', also make sure 'North Reference' is set to 'True'.
If that doesn't work, reset the sounder back to factory defaults and try again.
Here's the manual to you sounder:

In water less than 5', my Humminbird 565 reads that it is .6''of water

Hi!
If the sounder works in deeper water then try changing the unit to fresh water instead of salt water (or vise-versa). You'll need to switch to advanced settings first (in the setup menu tab), then switch to the afformentioned salt or fresh water (in the sonar menu tab).
Alternatively, switch back to factory defaults as these settings are made to work "right out of the box".
Best of luck!
Mike
