Hi my name is camila.. and i live in brazil. I have miniplayer meizu - sp- 1.010.2
my problem is ... my pc doens´t recognize it. Pc always says not acessible or ilegible... my usb is ok i check with other mp3 and mp4. i try a different pc...but nothing. is not cable too.. i can´t put any files in my meizu.. So what can i do for it? i try support in meizu website .. but nobady anwser me!! please somebody help me!

Try changing the USB mode in the player. Go to Main Menu - select Settings - then select USB Mode to set it to MTP (or try different settings). After changing USB Mode just plug the device to your computer via USB and it should detect it immediately. That's what I did today with mine and it worked :)

When connected to the computer, it must show up in Windows File Explorer. Go to the Volume and onboard memory and right click Format Drive. More in the link, but it sounds like it is broken.
Hi, you will need toupgrade the mp3player before you can be able to use it.why?, because the previous version has expired and can not be use again. So the only way you can use the mp3 player is to upgrade the firmware..

Dude, This just might be your lucky day...I just spent hours trying to figure this out, in layman terms.
So, here we go!
1) go here to download the firmware
http://en.meizu.com/downfile/S2004.6_Meizu_En.rar
2) open it up with which every program you use to open .rar files
I use WinRAR
3) With your Meizu connected to your PC or Laptop
click on START then COMPUTER you will see the drive which is connect to your MPplayer.
( now follow these directions as I have )
4) go to the firmware file and EXTRACT them directly into the
players root folder. Using the path COMPUTER then HIGHLIGHT THE DRIVE WHICH IS YOUR mp PLAYER
CLICK OK
Then remove Safely from your PC/ Laptop
Hold the Play Button for 12 seconds, it'll automatically reset. If not try connecting it to a computer or charger. If the device is active, reset it by going to the section settings. Once you are there, scroll down all the way
to the bottom, and see if there is a section that says "Reset settings". This should be it, if not you may need to reset it from "My Computer" when the device is connected to your PC. Right click on it, and click "Format Device". This wipes the entire thing.
A partially charged nicad will show a full charge, while failing to hold a full charge due to the memory effect, so these were changed for Lithium Ion batteries with no such effect, but even these will fail after a certain number of recharge cycles and though the unit is perceived by your laptop or desktop when connected by USB the actual power to do so is furnished by the usb itself, not necessarily the failing battery.
Change the battery, as the worst possible outcome from this method of troubleshooting is that you wind up with a spare battery that you can charge while the other one is in use.
If the battery proves not to be the problem and the unit is warranteed, then have it serviced or swapped.
If not warranteed and you can afford a replacement, do so.
