SOURCE: My Proform 650v treadmill stop when running after couple of miles

Most likely a bad drive belt. Take the cover off the motor area. If you see black dust near the left side of the motor, replace the drive belt.

SOURCE: Treadmill stops running

If you don't have the manual, see if the proform website has a PDF version available for download. They seem to have a lot of past models available. On our system (ProForm T10.0, PFTL0505.0) an E2 error meant the belt speed (according to the sensor) was too slow. The treadmill should come up to the selected speed within 7 seconds or this error is triggered.

Icon service turned out to be knowledgable and fair, although they can be hard to get ahold of on the phone. If you hold too long, then you are given a chance to enter your phone number. I had to contact them several times, and they did call me back each time I left my number.

Unfortunately several things can cause the belt not to run or not run well, so start with the easiest to fix items first like lubrication and tension adjustment (get a manual from the website if you don't have one--it covers this adjustment). Maybe clean the speed sensor wheel with compressed air or a q-tip (our model had a slotted wheel on the drive shaft which spins through an LED light detector).

If the speed is off, try calibrating the treadmill. Icon service can tell you how to do it (it's not in the manual).

SOURCE: Treadmill slows down and stops

SOURCE: MY TREADMILL STOPS JUST A MINUTE AFTER STARTING.

Try Lubricating the belt with silicone spray.
Probably the resistence from the belt scraping over the ground board is too high, forcing the machine to switch off in order to prevent damage.

I have a proform 550e, starts up fine runs well for a few minutes, then belt stops. Motor keeps running. I step off the belt, belt starts to run again.

check adjust belt tension
may have to clean under belt area as there could be a build up that is stopping the free movement of the belt as it gets hot

My treadmill runs for 15 minutes than stops for a minute than start up for 10 minutes than stops, than start up

It is designed to be able to be restarted after about 5 minutes. When it stops, wait 5 to 10 minutes, reset the circuit breaker. Of course you still have the same problem.

The motor contoller board is most likely overheating do to friction, so you're going to need to lubricate the walking belt(this should actually be done every 6 months) you can order a kit on ebay for about 15-20 bucks, it's called " lube n walk ", and no, I don't sell it, but I use it on the treadmills I service.

I recomend you loosen the belt one full turn on each side before you lube the belt, apply the lube and run the treaadmill for one mile without anyone on it and then let it rest for a while.

After that give it a try. if the belt slips, then tighten it back up one turn, but don't over tighten it.

I also recomend using a single outlet surge supressor.

That should solve your problem.

Kenmore 800 dryer shuts down after running down to 40 minutes on the timer. When I restart it at that point it runs for about 30 seconds and shuts down. If I turn the timer back to 90 minutes it runs down...

Sounds like you may have a bad motor. If the motor is overheating it will shut down on its overload.

If its a shorted contact in the timer you could mark the spot where it stops and restart it again. It should stop exactly at that point.
