You need to go to a small engine repair center to find the primer bulb that fits on your motor. It will depend on what motor and carburator you have. They are fairly easy to replace. The primer bulbs 'melt' or go soft because of ethenol in gas. You should expect to get one to two years out of a bulb so you may want to get an extra or two.

Acer chrombook no powerwash how to factory reset

If the powerwash button is not appearing it may be because you need to update the operating system. Please connect it to the internet and let it check for updates. If this doesn't work then go ahead and reset all Browser settings. this should cause the powerwassh button to appear.

Snowblower troubleshooting

there is a small pin hole in the rubber button, this will need to be replaced since this unit is so small, you will have to replace it as whole rather then just the little rubber bubble. contact you local dealer and go from there. they should be able to let you know how much you will need to replace as far as what components come on the "part".

Chain saw parts list

As you do not say what machine this is i will give you generic set up,if you have a remote primer, the fuel hose with the fuel filter on in the tank goes to the fuel inlet on the carb the connection nearest to the alluminium pump cover held with a single screw, the other carb conection goes to the longer conection on the back of the primer ( suction side ) the shorter connection on the primer ( pressure side ) takes the fuel back to the tank, if the primer in on the carb itself, the hose with the filter on goes to the connection furthest away from the primer bulb, the other connection goe back to the tank, with both systems the primer pulls fuel from the carb into the bulb and dumps back to the tank

Cannot Prime Engine. Rubber push button shot.

The rubber primer buttons are replaceable. Get the manufacturer and the model number off the engine, and do not say Briggs and Stratton 500 series, that gets you nowhere. You need the model number off the label or stamped into the shoud of the engine. You need to get the number of the engine, do not think that you can get the one off the mower and have it work, it may very well not get you very far.

Take that number to the local small engine repair shop and give them the number and ask for the primer bulb.

My briggs and stratton 158cc 500series push mower primer button melted from sun. how do i replace it?

There is a tab on either side of the carburetor right where the primer bulb sits. You can depress both of these tabs with a screwdriver and pry out the plastic ring that holds the primer bulb in place. You can purchase a new primer bulb (with a new plastic tab) from a local mower shop or from a small engine repair shop. When you install the new primer bulb, put the rubber bulb in first then put the plastic ring on top and press it in until the tabs click on each side. It should work correctly after the tabs are clicked properly. You can take off the air filter and look into the carburetor to see if the unit is priming correctly. I hope this helps you out.

I can't start my powerwasher. Where is the choke?

This Power washer has a 3.75 hp Briggs and Stratton Engine. It does not have a choke but does have a primer bulb. You must depress the primer bulb at least 3 times to start the engine. The primer bulb is on the side of the carb. It can be black or red. If your still unable to locate the primer bulb please provide your ENGINE model number and I will provide you a link to a diagram for the location of the primer bulb.

Thanks for using FixYa.
