Wifi wont connect to my tablet

SOURCE: I don't have the internet plan on my phone but i do have wifi

wifi is just a wireless connection. u need to connect to an access point that is connected to internet. u can maybe crack nearby WEP keys to "steal some net". anything with WPA encryption would be too hard to crack so just google "cracking wep" and follow the tutorials. do this on a pc with net ofcourse then transfer the program to your pc. good luck.

other than that. pay for a connection.

This error occurs when you do not set up a google account during the initial setup. You can try some of the following steps to see if you can resolve the issue.

-Restart the phone without the SIM card, and connect to some WiFi network, so you can login to your Google Account. It will log you into the account, and then you can put the SIM card back.
or
1. Hard reset your phone. You will lose all information that is currently on your phone when you do this.

Select Settings -> Security -> Factory Data Reset

2. Once the phone reboots, input your google account information when the phone asks for it.


The phone number for android customer support should be 888-486-3987 ,however, I would recommend if you are going to call tech support that you call the provider you purchased the phone from.

SOURCE: I have just bought a Google Android Tablet 7 inch and we are having trouble connecting WIFI. We've connected a different tablet and my daughters ipod touch with no problems as well as many lap to

the problem I had is when typing passwords etc you have to keep pressing upper case key for each letter,it reverts back to lower case each time.
