I have the Frigidaire FEX831C Laundry Center (electric/top load) and just the other night after finishing a load of laundry, I went to tumble my clothes in the dryer to get wrinkles out and the dryer would not turn on, and still will not. I thought maybe the circuit breaker in our house had popped but after resetting all of the switches it still will not work. The washer, however, does work. It will wash a full load of laundry from beginning to end. I thought maybe there was no power getting to it, but then realized that the washer and dryer share the same power source and power cord. Is there a circuit breaker inside of the dryer that may have popped?
Hello Philip, I appreciate your inquiry!
Based off the information you have provided you need help with replacing the belt on your Frigidaire laundry center. In order to access the pulley you would need to disassemble the laundry center. I would recommend seeking assistance from a professional technician for proper disassembly of your laundry center. Incorrect disassembly could cause personal harm or future issues within the laundry center. Best of luck! -Matt
