Epson projector is stuck in start up mode

When I turn on the projector, it stays in "warm Up" phase with the light flashing under the "on Button". The windows that normally open so the lamp can project remain closed. Non of the lights for heat or defective lamps are on, it just seems stuck in warm up phase. Have turned off the power and back on again to try to reset

SOURCE: Problem with the lamp

According to Epson the led will flash red in one of two cases: Flashes red with 1 sec intervals - either the lump has burned out(We can rule this one in this case) or the lamps cover is open (try checking the cover's sensor) Flashes red with 2 sec intervals - an internal problem, I'd suggest contacting Epson's support. Good Luck

SOURCE: ELP 3300 lamp problem?

probably. try to check the number of light hours( you can check the manual on how to view it) usually 10000 hours could mean that you need to replace the bulb. also check the physical appearance of the bulb, if it has cracks on the ceramic at the back, then you need to replace it.

Turned projector on all lights began flashing

I hope it is still under warranty or you may be SOL! We have had several projectors with the same issue and we had to send them back to Epson. If warranty expires I would still contact Epson for advise.

Can't get my epson 450wi to turn on shows red

What shows red? If all 3 lights are flashing red you are out of luck. If it is under warranty call Epson. If your warranty has recently expired I would still call Epson. This is a "known issue" for this model projector.

Warning lights

Just so you know guys (and this procedure is not for the faint hearted!). I had the slow one second red warning light flash. I checked the bulb, which was find and I left it powered off for 48 hours. My projector is no longer under warranty and would have cost me over £300 to have it looked at. I ventured inside to inspect the boards, once I removed the main board to check the power supply I heard movement from one of the light ducts. It took me a while to removed enough to discover the fixing screw which holds the imaging cube in place (which is between the 3 light ducts and the projector lens) had come out (!?) and was rolling around inside the unit. This would also explain why sometimes I could not focus my unit properly. I remounted the imaging cube, put the whole thing back together and PRESTO! My projector is working again.

Projector lamp flashes and the temp red led lights.

Purchased our76C in Jan, 2007. It is our second unit now that has had the same symptoms. When the unit starts up, the Power light is steady green as normal for a few minutes, but no image is projected. After a few minutes the lights do as you described. Both times Epson support authorized a new unit to be shipped out immediately. They said they had no known issues about it and didn't indicate what was causing the problem. Apparently it is not just the lamp wither. Also, the lamps both had under 20 hours on them.
