This indicates that the reason why Windows Explorer crashed is because of CLMedia.dll file. This file is part of CyberLink software. Try reinstalling CyberLink applications you have on your computer if the problem persists.

Now, I really don't see why would I help you any further seeing that you have given me Inappropriate rating despite my good will to help you.
Nevertheless, this is FixYa, and people here are devoted to help other people, no matter how rude they are, so it is my moral obligation to do so.

As I said, CLMedia.dll comes with software developed by CyberLink. If you should find any software on your computer that is created by CyberLink, you ought to renistall it, thus most probably fixing your problem.

From Start menu, access Control Panel.

        Click Add or Remove Programs.

Find any software created by CyberLink in this list and click Change. Program installation should allow you to reinstall software.
If there is no option Change available, click Remove to remove application from your computer. Pay attention that you will have to have a CD or other source for this software installation if you want to reinstall it later.
This method will replace CLMedia.dll file with all dependent files that are causing problems.

I have a HP DV6000 laptop. it came with windows XP media. I upgraded to windows 7 ulti. now the web cam dont work anyone know why?

Hi,
There is most likely an incompatibility issue with windows 7. Have you tried reloading your XP webcam driver?
H.P. currently has no drivers available for your Pavilion for windows 7. Keep referring back to www.hp.com to check as they are working on developing drivers for models which meet the minimum hardware requirements.
Best wishes,

Laptop hp dv6000 will not recognize cd burner/dvd player

HP Pavilion dv6000 laptop PC
Did you 'turn off' the AUTOPLAY feature of the CD\DVD ? When the player "runs two times at startup", it is trying to find the program on the disc.2nd- Look in internet for HP dv6000 cd\dvd drive replacement.(If that is the ""exact match for the product"" you wrote about)
3rd.goto CONTROL PANEL>SYSTEM>HARDWARE>DEVICE MANAGER and look up cd\dvd and uninstall it. REBOOT, when your system comes back it will try to find the cd\dvd. If it does not, it is damaged (kaput!), must be replaced. If Windows finds the cd\dvd drive and reinstalls the drivers, but it does not work, then the heads are dirty or damaged. That Windows found the dvd\cd means that the circuit on the device works.
