The Freezer inside of my Frigidaire doesn't freeze food but does keep it cold; adjusting the temperature doesn't make a difference. There is, also, water condensation inside the refrigerator; pooling on the bottom shelf. This is probably related to the freezer section not working, I would assume. The fridge works fine and keeps food cold. The only problem is w/the freezer; it doesn't FREEZE food or keep ice from melting. I can hear the motor/blower working just fine in the freezer. What could be the problem? I don't want to pay a fortune for a new fridge if the freezer unit can be fixed.
Its defrost assembly parts issue or the compressor is getting waek indication. Replacement parts can be

ok pull the cover off the back wall of the freezer compartment where the evaporator fan is after look under the evaporator should see an aluminum pan with a hole there that's the drain hole for the defrost system if its frozen and that hole is stopped up then every time it defrosts the water will run in the freezer and freeze and also drip into the fridge remove the ice and clear the hole also check the drain tube in the back to make sure its clean

they do that when they are on the way to the big kitchen in the sky. sorry, but mini fridges do not typically last very long.
SOURCE: WATER LEAK IN FREEZER POOLING AT BOTTOM & FREEZING THEN MELTING
The problem was indeed a clogged frost water drain. I had to pull the frig out from the wall (found an incredible amount of dust accummulation in the alcove), then remove the vertical metal and horizontal cardboard covers to expose the drain catchpan. The 1/2" rubber drain hose end was only about 1/8" above the pan pointing directly into it perpendicularly. This was not enough clearance. There was a plug (formed by dust and water) in the end of the hose that came out easily when I 'roto-rooted' it with a screwdriver. The water flowed easily after that, but I went ahead and trimmed about 3/8" off the end of the hose and pushed it back into its slot. Then I cleaned as much as I could. The prevention is to keep the area behind the frig cleaned!

Check the compressor with a volt meter, if the compressor is getting proper voltage then check the relay. But this sounds like a problem with the compressor

Your refrigerator has a defrost drain blockage behind the evaporator in your your freezer compartment. Some models like yours have leak in the turns as the water leaves the freezer. I recommend that you unplug and remove the cover to the evaporator and check the defrost condensate tray below the evaporator. A wet vacuum cleaner and poring a solution with clorox in the drain will help you clean locate the leak and where the blockage may be downline.. I do have the manual on yours and can help you solve this. Some times this is a factory defect and I can help you solve the freezing drain problem. Let me know, Sea Breeze
