SOURCE: Toto toilet - inadequate flushing
if this has been the case since the toilet was in stalled the problem is probably with the venting of the plumbing lines. try switching the toilets and seeing if it still happens with the "good" toilet.
SOURCE: Delay on tank fill after flush. Toto Drake bowl ada elongatred
I am not a plumber but stumbled across the solution on my own. While watching the float during the flush cycle, it was obvious that it was very slow in moving downward along with the water level in the tank. The problem was that the small opening in the float chamber was partially clogged. Using just my fingers, I reached under the float chamber and cleaned off any debris that was blocking the opening underneath the float chamber. Put the float back on, and instantly the problem was solved. The tank fill started immediately after I flushed.
SOURCE: Continous water running
just lower your float a little further. otherwise i'd adsume air is leaking out of your float. but if your float is up in the shut off position and water is still coming out. then you need a new assembly.
SOURCE: valve to stop water from running
IF YOU HAVE A FLUIDMASTER BALLCOCK,AND IF THE WATER IS CONTINUING TO RUN ,YOU NEED TO ADJUST THE WATER LEVEL,MOST OS THE TIME ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS OPEN THE TANK LID AND ON THE LEFT SIDE YOU'LL SEE THE BALLCOCK,AT THE TOP IT MIGHT HAVE A BLACK PIECE THAT YOU CAN SLIDE UP AND DOWN TO ADJUST THE WATER LEVEL,OR SOME HAVE A PIECE THAT LOOKS LIKE YOU CAN USE A PHILLIPS HEADS SCREWDRIVER,ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS TURN IT A HALF OF TURN EACH TIME UNTIL THE WATER STOPS GOING INTO THE OVERFLOW TUBE ,WHICH IS USUALLY LOCATED IN THE CENTER OF THE TANK AND IT WILLBE 1INCH ROUND ,IT ALSO WILL HAVE YOUR FLAPPER OR BALL CONNECTER TO IT.
