Motorola razr v3 - no hearing sound on ear speaker

HI, WHEN I MAKE OR ANSWER A CALL I HAVE NO SOUND FROM MY EAR SPEAKER. THE OTHER PERSON CAN HEAR ME BUT I CAN'T HEAR ANY VOICE.

Exactly the same problem with my Motorola PEBL U6 - am so pissed off coz there have absolutely a lack of service centres to visit. I am back to Nokia the next time

i hear nothing when making and receiving calls but i know its not the speaker's ribbon at fault because i tested it, also i noticed that the key-tone/sound are not playing and the side buttons not responding and there is a slight hissing sound from the main(ringing) speaker. Am wondering if those are connected.

i cannot hear any sound in my Tmobile Motorola phone- even when i press the burtons on the phone i dont get any sound. the phone rings out lou but i dont hear the caller neither does the caller hear me. its so annoying. please i'l appreciate any assistance.

i cant hear when i answer my motorola razr...but the person on the other line can hear me fine and its the same when i go to make calls

oh the same prob with me....Got the strip changed...worked for a day ..then the same prob in the night...
worked again d next day and went on for 5 days....hell the same prob nw

Check the middle button on the side. Hold it in and raise the earpiece volume to the highest before you throw the phone away.

I have a motorola similar to razor and cannot hear incoming calls except through the external speaker or through blue tooth external . Have I switched something off inadvertantly or do I need a new phone?

you need to change the ear speaker, your ear speaker is dead
place new ear speaker it will solve the problem

Moto Razr does not work with speakers off

You've either gotten in wet, a small tear in one of the cables, or the speaker itself has gone bad.

People on other end hard to hear

hello all,

This is a factory defect from the switch inside the headset plug which when used will disconnect sound to the ear speaker on the phone and route it to the headphone or an ear piece.When this switch is closed by a fault you won't be able to hear anything through the ear speaker once the connection is established.

Take it into your Service Provider's store.
