My nokia n96 goes on power save mode when the battery gets low so i have charged it fully and it is still on power save mode and i dont no how to get it off so my phone is really dark.
I had the exact same problem but it is fine now! :) And this is how you solve it.....you press the power button (single press), and a series of options come up...if you scroll down them you will come across a 'deactive power save mode' option, click select and this should sort it out! Hope this helps! :)

Yes, the green light flashes until the battery is fully charged on Ryobi chargers. This will change to a solid green light when the battery is fully charged until the charger goes to a power-saving mode. Not all of the Ryobi chargers have a power-saving mode. However, for those that do, the green led will dim over time and then brighten and dim slowly again in this mode.
Charge the battery completely. Monitor the battery indicator, which is
usually found that the bottom of your computer screen, to check if the
battery is already fully charged.
Plug off the power adapter and use the laptop until the battery is
completely drained. To drain the battery faster, run several programs at
once and keep the contrast of your screen to its highest levels. Turn
off all power-saving features as well. Turn off sleep mode.
Make sure that the battery is totally drained by waiting for your laptop
to shut off or go into sleep mode automatically because of very low
battery charge.
Plug the power adapter again and charge the battery again completely.
Once this is done, restore the power-saving features and adjust the
contract settings of your screen to normal.
Mine wouldn't charge and it Was New out of the box .
as It Turns out My Laptops USB port looses power when the computer goes into Power saving mode which was set to go into a low power state to conserve its Batteries when not in use , That was preventing it from charging fully when It was plugged in and I was away from my computer.
First Option: mostly nokia chargers doesn't make problems... just try the following.. connect ur mobile with a system (usb cable)... found out whether it is charging or not... if the same prblm appears then there is a prblm in ur cell phone or power jack(socket)... if it charged with usb cable buy a new charger Please change Phone Bettery and check the charging IF Charging Problem not Solved So
Second Option: Your Phone charging IC Fault So Please change charging IC And charging Problem will Solved Quickly
Hi, if you N96 is not charging when plugged to a power supply outlet and the battery charges in another phone, then it obviously means the charging i.c in the phone is bad thereby affecting the charging port.
You need to get the phone to a mobile phone repair tech to replace the charging i.c. Meanwhile you can use a desktop charger to charge your battery pending the time you fix it....
My Nokia n96 does not start up.I had full battery power,I then recieved a call and the battery went flat.I charged it up now it won't start up. When I press the start button,it gives the start up vibration and then the screen stays blank. The button in the middle is lit up.
1. let the battery fully discharged without connecting to power supply,
2. remove memory card
3. remove battery
4. remove sim card
5. insert the sim card
6. do not insert the memory card
7. reset the battery
8. connect to power for charging for 24 hours
9. switch on and it will work
