You weren't kidding when you said Vintage! I was thinking maybe 1950's. What you have is purely antique! I doubt you will easily find anything for something that old. There are a few websites online that cater to antique and vintage appliances. Some have forums where you can request info. You might fare better there.
Yes. Wish I could tell you which button for sure, but to reprogram the Compass you hold one of the buttons and drive in a circle one or two times to reacquire your position.
Hi, There are few websites offer schematics/ service manuals for products and your required schematics are available HERE for small fee. Because schamtics/ service manual is technical document of a product so it wont be available for free over internet as user/ owner manuals are almost free. Hope these info will help you. Thanks.
To calibrate DMM you need precision AC/DC Voltage, Current and Resistance source (read: expensive calibrator) and standard Capacitors and Inductors or LCR meter and that is just a start. To adjust it you will probably have to guess what pots are for what function because these cheep meters have no adjustment procedure. Your call.
Have you removed the outer case? Sometimes the schematic (and other troubleshooting and calibrating procedure information) is located there. I found such info for a GE microwave (made by Samsung) in an envelope taped to the top of the inside case.
