put it in a bag of rice, Raw rice not cooked, for a few days. that will absorb all the moisture. Don't try to turn it on until you dry it. or you will short it out
You probably just shorted out the reciever or the esc from contact with the water. You can try taking them out and putting them in rice, but if that doesn't work, you will have to buy new hardware.
I have no clue who told you to use a hair dryer but that's not the right thing to do.
Take the back off, the battery out, and stick it in uncooked rice for a week. If that doesn't work then the phone is shot.
I'm sorry, I hate telling people this. But water is every phones worst enemy.
I hope that helps
First thing to do whenever you suspect water damage is to take the batteries out, open as many doors and caps as possible, and let the device dry out for 2-3 times as long as you suspect it should take. Sometimes in humid environments you can put the device in a container and dump in some clean dry rice. Cover it and let the dry rice pull some of the moisture out. Don't let rice get in the camera :) As a last resort, you can disassemble the camera as far as you feel comfortable, then dump some denatured alcohol in and around the screen to help flush out the water and possibly clean any residue left on contacts by the drying water. After this, again let the camera dry out completely before even reassembling. If it still doesn't work, it may be time to get a new camera. Good luck!
Hello, There is still water inside the phone that's why some part are still working and some not working yet.
What to do is this,
Unscrew the phone, Get a Methylated spirit and a brush, Bring out the board of the phone and use the methylated spirit to brush off remaining water on phone. Keep under heat to dry off, After board is dried, fix it back and screw back phone.
Am sure after doing this phone will work well. But if phone still doesn't work ,that means water has damage some component inside the phone. You will need to consult a phone technician for assistance. Take care.
Possibly, don't turn it on instead put it in a bowl of uncooked rice and put it somewhere warm like on top of a heater or put a hairdryer on it. The rice will expand and absorb the water out of the ds. Leave it for a day, and then try to turn it on. If this doesn't work I'm afraid your sol.
