Is your printer installed properly? You have to check "Control Panel" > "Printers and Faxes" It will have a list of installed printers and software like one note Can you see your printer name there? If "NO" then you have to install the printer Please leave a comment! I'll check it out

It is very easy to open the printer.First you need to remove the screws at the back.Then slowly remove the white panels which is fixed at the left and right sides.You should be very careful doing so,because there is no screws instead of that only plastic locks.Then you can remove the top cover.The total plastic panel you can remove only removing the two screws.Best of luck
