Is like this:i draft my house plan.but when print out my plan.it comes out small.what might be the problem?i used scale of 1;100.paper i used A1 size.and details i used medium.is this correct.i never had...

I believe when you used the scale of 1:100, it formatted it for the A1 paper, but only 1/100th of the size. Try doing a 1:1 (or, if available, auto) scale. AutoCAD should handle the rest.

There used to be enough steam to froth milk for 2 cups of coffee, now I have to turn the knob off, to let the machine build up steam 3 times too get enough froth for 1 cup of coffee.

This a
clear problem from scale builds up in the boiler. The scale layer is acting as
an insulation layer which is reducing the efficiency of the heating element to
the boiler and also reducing the water capacity thus also the steam production
capacity.

So you
should first try to de-scale your machine three four times with intervals of
three days from each de-scale. Try also to perform the de-scale very slowly
like when you will flash the water solution from the water reservoir take about
30 minutes why drawing a coffee cup every five minutes. With this way you have
very good chance to remove a lot of scale and you machine heating efficiency to
be increased. If after the above procedure you have no difference then you need
a new boiler which is one unit with elements and sensor.

Here below we
have a link with more information for your machine which can help you.

I need to calculate the number of 55 gallon drums that can be placed in a containment pool that measures 8 ft in diameter, and 2 ft. in height. The containment vessel has to hold 110% of the material in...

Calculate the volume of one 55 gallon drum by using this formula
22/7 X Radius squared X hight of cylinder = Volume of large vessel.
22/7 X 48" (Squared) X 24" = Volume in cu in

100.57 cu ft in large pool = 752.315 US gals.
110% of 50 gals = 60.50 gals
752.315 divided by 60.5 = 12.43 drums
Draw to scale the large poola nd then draw to scale the smaller drums and see if 13 drums fit.

Incomplete plot from .pdf file - Hp DesignJet 1050C Plus

Was the plot originally done on a size D or E plotter.. A .pdf is generally not a good way to send a plot that has to be done to scale.. Can they re-send the plot in a hpgl format, or a format that you can use in another program, liks ACAD, and then print it through that program? This would provide you with some control, that a pdf document will not allow.

This is just a stab in the dark for me, but I am familiar with plotters in general, just not the many formats to print from..
